Janet Jackson Highlights From The State Of The World Tour In Austin [VIDEO]
Fans of the iconic Janet Jackson certainly weren't disappointed last night (September 10th) in Austin's Frank Erwin Center as the star performed an amazing medley of hits and a few she's never performed before for 2 hours!
Janet kicked the show off with a video message protesting police brutality and the deaths of unarmed black men before launching into "State Of The World" then followed that with a medley of classic hits like "Nasty" and "What Have You Done For Me Lately". along with other jams from her lengthy career. She even broke down into tears at one point performing "What About" from her "The Velvet Rope" which talks about abuse.
While Janet completely ran through the gamut of hits with barely any breaks or intermission, she did mess up at one point during the show! This is only Janet's 3rd date on her massive tour so far but she did get her cities mixed up which is "concert cardinal sin #1" but the fans in attendance didn't seem to mind and kept rocking anyway (Check out the 4:04 mark in the video)! Here are some highlights in the video below!
