Texas has a long history with video games; many video games have levels that take place in the Lone Star state, and some games take place entirely in the state. But which ones will you see virtual versions of Texas?

  • The 1999 horror video game, Nocturne has a level in a town called Red Eye.
  • Interstate '76 has various levels in Texas in cities such as Lubbock, Seagraves, Seminole and Pecos as well as Fort Davis
  • Party Hard (the 2015 video game by tinyBuild) has a part that takes place in Bay City, Texas
  • the 1988 Knight Rider video game (Houston is one of the levels of the game)
  • and Gran Turismo Sport/7 has a racetrack, the Northern Isle Raceway, that is set in Texas.
