
What’s Next for the Temple Teen in the 2024 Murder? Adult Charges!
According to the Temple Daily Telegram, a year-old crime now has an alleged suspect. At the time, 15-year-old Isaac Alexander Marenco was arrested for allegedly murdering Brady Baker, who died from gunshot wounds. The Temple Police Department charged Isaac Marenco with felony murder. He was initially booked into the Bell County Juvenile Center due to his age, but on Monday, he was transferred to the Bell County Detention Center.

Temple's Youngest Murder Suspect Now in Adult Court
Temple Police Department spokesperson Sydney McBride stated that Marenco turned 17 and was therefore transferred from the juvenile detention center to the adult facility. He was not re-arrested; it was simply a transfer. In the state of Texas, individuals are considered adults at age 17 and can face adult criminal charges.
Temple's 2024 Murder Investigation: New Adult Charges for Teen
Isaac was indicted by a Bell County grand jury in February. The indictment alleges that he committed or attempted to commit an act dangerous to human life—namely, shooting the complainant—which resulted in the death of Brady Baker. Brady Baker was 16 years old when he lost his life and was pronounced dead at the scene. According to jail records, Isaac’s bond was set at $200,000. An affidavit was used to obtain a search warrant for his car on the day of the crime.
