I35 Traffic Delayed by Crash Just South of Troy

UPDATE 3:38PM: TxDOT reports that the roadway has been cleared and traffic flow is back to normal.

For the second time Monday, southbound traffic along I35 was delayed due to a traffic collision – this time, just south of Troy.

The inside lanes of southbound I35 were blocked between Berger Road (exit 305) and Pendleton Road (exit 306) after a 2-vehicle crash. TxDOT officials labeled the collision “minor”, but emergency responders were called.

TxDOT estimated it would take 1 to 2 hours to clear the roadway. Meanwhile, traffic was backed up for 4 miles.
