Here’s The #1 Thing Texans Are Most Afraid Of, It Will Shock You!
We’re not really known as scaredy cats here, in the great state of Texas, as a matter of fact, the largest military base resides in the Central area of the state. We all know to be a part of the military you have to have some form of integrity, courage, and most importantly, bravery. That doesn’t necessarily mean that all Texans are built that way, but I like to say most are.
ARE TEXANS SCARDY CATS?
According to CBS 19, there was a study that took place and listed each one of the 50 states and the percentages of fear in each state. Now course, there are common phobias, that a lot of people fear such as Autophobia, which is when you don’t like to be alone, Arachnophobia scared of spiders, Anthropophobia when you’re scared of people, and Thanatophobia when you’re scared of dying. If I’m being honest, I feel like these particular phobias are definitely something I can understand being scared of. No one wants to be alone, I hate spiders, not the biggest fan of being around people and I would think that death scares a lot of us.
WHAT TEXANS SCARED OF?
According to studies, shockingly, what scares Texans the most would be all of the above. That’s right, studies show the Texans would be considered as "Panphobia". Panphobia is when you are scared of everything, which I kind of find to be a little unfair, but studies are studies. The fact that Achievemephobia, which is the phobia of success is actually a phobia that Texans are scared of really makes you think why are we so scared of so many things or to put them in better terms, why are we scared of everything, even success? Now you’re probably thinking this doesn’t pertain to you, and that could be possible but studies are studies and it shows here in the great state most of us are big scaredy cats.
