Things may be a little confusing this year, since Halloween falls on a Monday, but there are a lot of events throughout the last weekend of October to choose from in Central Texas that are wallet-friendly.

Halloween Events in Belton

Downtown Belton's Candy Trail will be from 4 to 6 pm, Saturday, October 29th. Over 40 participating businesses in the Belton area plan to hand out over 100,000 pieces of candy. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Sparta Volunteer Fire Department’s Trunk or Treat will also be Saturday, October 29th from 5 to 8 pm at 7041 Sparta Road in Belton.

Copperas Cove Halloween Events

Hill Country Nursing and Rehabilitation is hosting a Trunk or Treat from 6 to 8 pm Friday, October 28th in the Hill Country parking lot at 810 Industrial Avenue in Copperas Cove. This event is free and open to the community.

Fort Hood Halloween Events

The Pershing Park Express Shoppette at 5488 Hoover Hill Road on Fort Hood will host its Trunk or Treat from 2 to 4 pm October 29th. There will also be a costume contest and pumpkin decorating at this free event.

Harker Heights Halloween Events

We Play and More, 544 W. Veterans Memorial Blvd in Harker Heights, will have a free Trunk or Treat and Pop-Up Shop from noon to 3 pm on Saturday, October 29th. There will be free food (while supplies last), vendors, candy, face painting, and other activities.

Express ER Harker Heights, 980 Knight’s Way, is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, October 30th. This family-friendly event is also free.

Killeen Halloween Events

  • The Texas A&M University–Central Texas Student Government and the Office of Student Affairs is hosting the 2022 Trunk or Treat  at 1001 Leadership Place in Killeen from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, October 28th . This event is free, open to the public, and best trunk decorations and costume can win a $100 prize. For more info, visit tamuct.edu.
  • Grace Lutheran Church and School of Killeen will be having a Trunk or Treat from 6 to 7:30 pm Monday, October 31st in the church parking lot at 1007 Bacon Ranch Road.
  • The Killeen Police Department’s third annual Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat event will be from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, October 29th at KPD Headquarters, 3304 Community Blvd. in Killeen.
  • Familia Ink Tattoo Co., 913 W. Rancier Ave. in Killeen, is hosting “The BOOth Walk” trick-or-treating event from 4 to 7 pm on Saturday, October 29th. Free food and candy will be available at this event.
  • The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors on 1103 W. Stan Schlueter Loop in Killeen, is hosting its Trunk or Treat from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, October 29th. All families are welcome at this free event.
