GOVERNOR GREG ABBOTT SCORNS MIGRANT FOR POSSIBLE FIRE STARTER
This incident is deeply distressing, especially knowing that innocent children were entangled in a situation beyond their control. Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, aged 46, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder following the shocking event at his home on November 6. Allegedly, he intentionally set fire to his residence in Texas with three of his children inside. It remains unclear whether Pedro Luis is an undocumented immigrant, but Fox News Digital noted that his immigration status is not confirmed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO DO THIS TO THEIR FAMILY?
Governor Abbott’s office referred to his legal status as unknown, stating, "A Venezuelan immigrant with an undetermined legal status is accused of igniting a fire at a Texas home; he deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison." Currently, Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar is recovering from serious injuries sustained in the fire and is hospitalized. He has been booked into Fort Bend County Jail, where his bond is set at $2.25 million.
