How A Did A Former Texas A&M Student Get Into The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band Without Trying To?
There are many young men and women that desire to be part of a marching band. From trumpets and tubas, to majorettes and color guard members, it takes a lot to make a show perfect. Just watch any group perform and see the skill it takes to do so.
Not everybody wants to be in the group however, and would rather watch the performance than be in it. That's great too, because after all, the band needs fans as well! But what happens when somebody finds themselves in a group, without trying to do so?
For one Texas A&M Student, they were welcomed into the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. One problem though, they never intended to be in the band to start!
How Did A Texas A&M Student Get Into The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band With No Prior Band Experience?
Well, to find out the story, we turn to Tik Tok user ElAbogadoGera. According to their story, they were attempting to find a place to stay on campus. Due to the pricing, which they were looking for the least expensive, they chose the dorm where the marching band stayed,
Not knowing that at the time, they then received an email about an introduction to the marching band. When he alerted someone about not even attempting at an audition, he said in a comment that "Someone will come get you throughout the week."
Instead, he found himself in the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, and decided to stay in the organization. Per his post, he was in the band for four years, going to multiple SEC Contests.
Well, can't blame somebody for faking it and making it!
