It looks like one actor from Empire is facing a real life drama.

Morocco Omari, who plays Tariq Cousins, an FBI agent and half brother to Terence Howard's Lucious Lyon on the hit FOX series, has been arrested for domestic violence.

As TMZ reports, Omari is accused of repeatedly pushing down a 24-year-old woman during an argument, causing abrasions to her neck and chest area. The alleged incident took place at the actor's home and eventually 911 was called. Once police arrived, they noticed the scratches on the woman and took the Empire cast member to jail.

If you recall, the 41-year-old first appeared on the show towards the end of the second season and was named a series regular before season three began. Before his run on Empire, Omari appeared in shows like Momentum Shakedown and Homeland.

Empire recently returned for the second half of it's third season, and the show was also making headlines for bad blood on set. Nia Long is reportedly threatening to sue the cast, crew and production of Fox’s popular drama Empire after reports surfaced of the actress’ purported unprofessional behavior on the set. Long is a recurring guest star this season and according to TMZ, Long and the show's Emmy-winning leading lady Taraji P. Henson reportedly butted heads because Henson wasn’t happy with how Long was treating the staff. It got so bad that producers were trying to figure out how to shoot scenes with the two of them.

As far as Omari's case, his relationship to his accuser is currently unclear, and no other details have been released. Of course, it's possible that Omari will put out a statement in the days to come. More details as this develops.
