All day Friday (5/29) you have a chance to drop off donations that will be delivered to Texas flood victims. Historic floods have left many with nothing, and we're going to help get them started on the rebuilding process.

Beginning at 6:00 a.m. Friday morning we will be broadcasting live from two different Central Texas locations. From 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. we'll be taking donations that will be delivered by Wilson Art directly to a distribution center that will get the supplies where they're needed most.

Donations in Temple can be dropped off beginning Friday morning at 6:00 a.m. at Lowe's on the Loop in Temple (click for map), Ft. Hood Harley Davidson in Harker Heights (click for map), the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce (click for map), and Roger Beasley Mazda in Killeen (click for map),

Items needed include:

  • duct tape
  • tarps (20X10 & 10X10)
  • gently-used business clothing for men & women
  • new women's bras
  • new underwear (men/women/children)
  • new socks
  • hygiene products (tampons, diapers, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste/toothbrushes, soap, wipes, deodorant)
  • purses
  • sponges
  • 3M face masks (N97)
  • brooms/mops
  • leather work gloves
  • mosquito spray
  • first aid kits
  • new blankets
  • new wrapped pillows

Don't forget about the four-legged flood victims. Pet food, treats & various supplies would go a long way in helping out the furry or feathered flood victims.

Financial donations will be accepted and 100% of donations will go directly to flood relief efforts. Can't make it out to one of our four locations? Monetary donations can be made online through For the City.

Please share this article, spread the news and get the office or shop together to make a donation throughout the day Friday. Let's help our neighbors to the south.
