Donate New Or Like New Shoes To Soles For Little Soles Shoe Drive

If you have some kids shoes that your kids have outgrown or shoes that your kids just don't wear anymore and they are still like new, someone in Central Texas could use them.

The Mu Tau Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. and The Sigma Public Education and Research Foundation are asking for your donations of new and like new shoes to give to a local shelter for women and children in the Killeen area with their "Soles For LIttle Souls" Shoe Drive.

They will be holding a shoe drive in front of the Harker Heights Wal-Mart on January 5th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Shoes that are collected will then be distributed at 2nd Chance Ministries in Killeen on January 20th as part of a nationwide initiative.

Shoes are just another thing we tend to take for granted, but to someone working to put their life together and recover from hardships, shoes for their kids could be a huge help. Let's keep the giving spirit of Christmas going into the new year.
