Central Texas Toys for Tots Registration Is Now Open

The Holiday countdown is officially on, and with the pandemic still ongoing, there are still so many Central Texas families facing some financial struggles right now. That's where Toys for Tots comes in.

Jingle Bells Just Around the Corner

Geesh, this year flew bye! We are almost a month away from Thanksgiving, and two from Christmas. With time flying by so fast, the folks at Toys for Tots are preparing to make this Christmas a good one for as many CTX residents as possible.

Toys for Tots is known for supplying low income families with the means to have a wonderful holiday, and this year they are preparing to help as many families as they can. Families in McLennan and Bell County can now sign up. The Salvation Army of Waco started application appointments Monday, but are still taking some.

How To Get An Appointment

Families who are interested can pick up an appointment letter from The Salvation Army Social Services office at 4721 W. Waco Drive, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The appointment letters will have a set time for you to show up and fill out the application. All applicants are being advised to pickup appointment letters asap because once the time pass you can not reschedule.

According to Waco TX Toys for Tots, other areas in the CTX has began sign up as well. Check out the locations below:

Families/Guardians should call first to schedule an appointment for either Temple area or Killeen area by calling 254-774-9996. Program is for families with children 12 years old or younger.
TEMPLE AREA: Appointments to complete applications will be held at the McLane Center of Hope, 419 West Avenue G, Temple, TX on any of the following dates: October 18-22, 2021, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm OR from October 25-29, 2021, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Schedule this appointment in advance by calling 254-774-9996.
KILLEEN AREA: Appointments to complete applications will be held at 201 West Jasper Drive, Killeen, TX 76542 on any of the following dates: October 18-22, 2021, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm OR October 25-29, 2021, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Schedule this appointment in advance by calling 254-774-9996.

Toy for Tots application process also opens the for other assistance for those who may need it. Applicants should apply as soon as possible so that the team will be able to prepare for the Holiday Season.
