The City Of Killeen has announced more COVID-19 mobile testing sites.

Monday and Tuesday, January 25th and January 26th testing will take place at the Killeen Special Events Center, 3301 S. WS Young Drive from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Registration is open now and must be completed in advance. If you are looking to get tested you have to have either an email or valid phone number in order to receive results.

Tests are administered while you are in your car and a nasal swab will be collected.

Results are revealed within 48 to 72 hours.

While testing does not require individuals to be symptomatic, COVID-19 symptoms may include:

Fever and/or chills
Cough (dry or productive)
Fatigue
Body aches/muscle or joint pain
Shortness of breath
Sore throat
Headaches
Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
Nasal congestion
Loss of taste and/or smell

Everyone at the testing site is required to wear a mask including patients, passengers, and personnel.

Mobile testing is a program of the State of Texas through the Texas Division of Emergency Management and Texas Department of State Health Services. The City of Killeen is providing local support to this effort.

According to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, as of January 21st, Bell County has had 17,148 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
