Easter may have the bunny, but Copperas Cove has the rabbit. Dates for this year's Rabbit Fest have been announced for May 13-16.

It's great to see annual events making their way back after a year off due to the pandemic. Copperas Cove is back with Rabbit Fest in Copperas Cove City Park, 1206 W Avenue B.

Rabbit Fest will kick off on Thursday, May 13 and run through Sunday, May 16 with a carnival, food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, live music, and more. Best of all, it's only $5 a carload to get in.

That's some really great fun at a really great price.

Opening ceremonies will be on Thursday night, May 13th, on the Fester stage. Thursday is also appreciation night from 4-10p with military, active or retired, teachers, and students getting in for free with ID.

Be sure to enjoy the carnival with $25 all you can ride wristbands.

There's also some great live music lined up for Rabbit Fest, with Michael Carubelli taking the stage on Friday the 14th at 8pm.

Check him out here performing "I'm Gonna Need Another Beer for This."

Curtis Grimes will take the stage Luke Prater on Saturday night at 8pm. Remember this Curtis Grimes classic?

Sunday gets started with a parade at 10am and live music throughout the day. Plus, there'll be fireworks on both Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9pm.

So, a carnival, live music, fireworks, vendors and just $5 a carload to get in. Sounds like the makings of a bun...I mean fun weekend!

We'll see you at the Copperas Cove City Park, 1206 West Ave B, for Rabbit Fest.
