Come Help The Homeless And Less Fortunate At The Killeen, Texas Block Party
I am so excited that our Sunday morning My Kiss 1031 radio personality Phyliss Jones has put together an amazing event. On Saturday, June 24 we’re asking the whole community to come out and be a part of the Informational block party for the homeless and misfortunate from 10 AM until 1 PM located at 412 Sprott between Eighth and 10th St.

There will be plenty of vendors, music, and also voter registration table will be there. If you want to be a part of the event, please contact Phyliss Jones at 254-345-8493. This is all about coming together and taking care of one another. A lot of times the city of Killeen gets a bad rap for its crime and violence. This event showcases how my community truly treats one another, it’s all about lending a helping hand and being there for one another.

Phyliss is asking everyone to come out and donate socks, underwear, toiletries, canned meats, and anything you feel you can donate. I love the fact that this event showcases how our community leaders step up and take care of their own. You must always keep in mind that this is not our house, this is our home, and we have to take care of one another, that includes our community and the people who live there.
