I personally absolutely love this event because it allows the whole community to come out and not only bargain but enjoy each other’s company. Owner and operator of the E Center Carolyn Brown, wants everybody to come out and enjoy the festivities at the CTX Community-Wide Back To School Bazar Garage Extravaganza. The vendors are endless and because our kids are going back to school you might find some things that could be essential for your child’s school year.

COME OUT AND SEE THE LARGEST GARAGE SALE HERE IN CENTRAL TEXAS

The garage extravaganza event takes place at 710 Edwards Dr. from 10 to 3 PM. This event will be held indoors and outdoors with a DJ, food truck, and bouncy houses, and let’s not forget new and used items are welcome. If you have been to a Swap Meet or a thrift store just imagine that but larger. See you there on August 5.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
