WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE THE NEVER-SO-BASIC PUMPKIN SPICE MARTINI?
Pumpkin martini ingredients
Vodka – I recommend pumpkin pie rum for the mildest gourd flavor.
Substitution: You can swap in regular vodka or flavored vodkas, such as vanilla vodka or even cinnamon vodka!
Rum – A dark spiced rum pairs best with pumpkin.
Substitution: Try using pumpkin liqueur for even more gourd flavor.
Half-and-Half – For a touch of decadence.
Substitution: Feel free to use heavy cream for a richer mouthfeel or milk for a cocktail with a lighter body.
Pumpkin Puree – You’ll need a can of 100% pure pumpkin.
Maple Syrup – Pure maple syrup adds a beautiful touch of cozy sweetness. Make sure you use the real stuff and not the syrup made for pancakes.
Vanilla – Pure vanilla flavor.
Pumpkin Pie Spice – Use store-bought for convenience. Or make your own pumpkin spice by combining ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves.
