BSNF Train Hits Individual In Killeen, Texas
According to Killeen police 27-year-old Robert Quinton Derego was announced deceased at 8:37 AM by Justice Of The Peace Nicola James and an autopsy is to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Science of Dallas.
KILLEEN POLICE INVESTIGATE TRAIN-PEDESTRIAN FATALITY
Robert's death was investigated on February 28 at 7:55 AM. Once police were told that an individual had been hit by a BSFN train at the Twin Creek railroad crossing in Killeen, the train was traveling eastbound when the conductor noticed an individual on the tracks, and even though, the train horn was sounded by the conductor the individual would not move and was struck by the train.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no information at the time. Residents are urged to contact the proper authorities if any information is being withheld.
