Boiling Water Notice Lifted Killeen, Texas

Recently Killeen, Texas had a water boiling notice made for certain parts of the city. 3702 through 3910 Charolais Dr. and 503 through 506 Long Horn Circle were the areas where residents were told an emergency boiling water notice had to take place.

BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED

The city had a Water Crew isolate a water main for repairs due to a private contractor underground that hit a main water pipe. There were water crews that had to remain on site until all the repairs were completed correctly and water services were restored, once quality samples were taken, the following day the results showed that there was no contamination included.

The boiling water notice has been lifted immediately. The city of Killeen also stated that residents in the area should have boiled all water before consumption until water sampling results confirmed that no contamination occurred.
