
Boil Water Notice Issued For Properties In Killeen, Texas
The city of Killeen has released an emergency water notice caused by the interruption of water services located at 1001 through 1019 Carrie Circle and 1012 through 1015 Wales Circle in the city.

WARNING: THE CITY OF KILLEEN IS UNDER A BOILING WATER NOTICE IN SOME PARTS OF THE CITY
The city of Killeen stated that a water main break has happened in these locations, and a water crew will need to isolate the water main. The water crew will stay at the location until all of the repairs are completed and water services are restored.
WHAT SHOULD THE RESIDENTS OF KILLEEN DO DURING THE BOILING WATER NOTICE?
A water quality sample will be taken the following morning with results available 24 to 48 hours afterwards. On October 26, the boiling water notice was issued and residents should make sure to boil water before consumption until safety results are confirmed that no contamination is visible. Residences will be notified through the City of Killeen website and the boiling water notice hotline at 254 -501-6515 as soon as the notice is lifted.
