Carolyn Brown has done it again. If there’s one thing this awesome woman is going to do, it's make sure that she looks after her community by teaching young women down the line how to not only work together, but treat each other with respect and acknowledge that we are all queens and businesswomen.

I’m so excited to be a part of the Black Girl Magic event that Mrs. Carolyn Brown is throwing March 13th in Harker Heights, where you'll meet some of the most talented, prestigious, and kindhearted women in Central Texas.

BLACK GIRL MAGIC

Now more than ever, women of color are networking and supporting each other in all kinds of exciting entrepreneurial pursuits, and that's what Black Girl Magic is all about. You'll have the opportunity to chat and dine with women of all walks of life who have valuable experience and advice when it comes to starting businesses, merchandising, promoting, and chasing down dreams.

The idea is to share the sisterhood, the experiences, and also the trials and tribulations they've encountered as women of color. I cannot speak for everybody attending this event, but I can say for myself I think this is much needed in the world that we live in right now. I’ve seen people stereotype women of color all the time, suggesting that not only are we uneducated, but angry, and we’re unable to work with one another because we’re jealous of one another.

These negative stereotypes are absolutely ridiculous, and shouldn't hold any woman  back any longer or make us afraid to support one another.

BUILDING A SISTERHOOD IN CENTRAL TEXAS
