Texans were recently warned about a flesh-eating bacteria that has found its way into the lakes, rivers, and even the oceans here in Texas, which, of course, was alarming.

However according to the Texas Invasive Species Institute, a sea creature may invade the great state, and Texans are told if it is spotted kill it immediately the snakehead fish isn’t usually spotted in Texas, but recently conversations have been made that there is a possibility that may make their way here. The dangerous fish is prohibited in Texas because it is such an aggressive predator. The snakehead fish is so dangerous that it could destroy most of the local ecosystem in the great state. Between Africa and Asia, that is where the snakehead fish is native, so why would Texas even be an idea where the deadliest fish could be coming to?

Even though the snakefish has not been in Texas waters as of yet they have been introduced to other parts of the country close to the state, such as Louisiana and Arkansas where they are being intentionally released. The snakehead fish again could do dramatic damage to the Texas ecosystem. That is why if a snakehead fish is spotted you are asked to kill it immediately or it could be our last time.
