Bell County authorities expect about 500 evacuees at the Bell County Expo today. Local churches are also offering to open their doors if the expo center reaches capacity. From there, evacuees will be sent further north to shelter opening in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

In Killeen, The Killeen Civic and Conference center will be available to anyone forced to leave their home to do weather related conditions. KCENTV reports that so far, shelters in McClennan county have not been activated. City officials in Waco told KCENTV several shelters could be activated on Saturday if there is need to do so.
