SNAP, also known as the Supplemental Nutrition, Assistance Program provides food, and benefits to low-income families to supplement their grocery budget so they can afford nutritious food for health and well-being. Individuals who suffered food loss due to Hurricane Beryl will receive replacement benefits and will also get an extension to apply. Right now, the main objective is to get Texas back to being Texas. After the awful trials and tribulations hurricane Beryl has given to the state, banding together, and finding whatever resources that are available to Texas should be what’s most important as of right now.
