Billionaire Elon Musk has been a fan favorite here in the great state of Texas for the last couple of years. The businessman and investor who is known for his roles in space company, SpaceX and automotive company, Tesla Inc., has hundreds and thousands of Texans employed. Not only did Elon Musk give Texans employment, but his impressive healthcare benefits, convenient transportation back and forth from work, and employee pay easily made him very popular here in the great state. According to Reform Austin, that could all change very soon.

The billionaire has a tunneling company that Texans feel has destroyed our beautiful state and will worsen the life quality of in rural. Elon Musk's company known as the Boring Company set up shop in Bastrop, Texas in 2021. The moment the company arrived, there was activity towards the landscape due to the trucks, operating everywhere,  earth mounds, scattered fields, heavy machines, and also new gravel and sand were erected to support the company's task.

Environmental concerns took place as well as a company applied for a permit to dump over 100,000 gallons of treated wastewater per day into the Colorado River. Locals of the city of Austin are now moving to Bastrop and natives are now wanting to move out of the state. I do believe that Elon Musk doesn’t intentionally want to destroy the great state of Texas but the reality is, certain Texans are not pleased with him being here. I hope this billionaire considers that.
