BE ALERT: Freezing Weather Is Coming, Texas Temperatures Soon to Be in Low 30’s-20’s
The Texas heat has truly been challenging this summer. The smoldering heat in the Great State reached numbers so high, that records were broken, and the heat index in Texas was just miserable. Like most Texans were over the heat and summer days, and according to KXAN, that request might be coming quicker than Texas could imagine.
WINTER IS COMING TO TEXAS?
KXAN explained that a cold front will move through central Texas over the weekend and will be one of the coldest and strongest of the season. Recently, the weather in Texas has been delightful but temperatures have been defined to get as low as 32° or even colder very soon in the great state. According to statistics hard freeze usually happens when temperatures drop 28° or below, and you can see frost with the air temperature in several degrees above freezing. Texas needs to keep its eyes open to severe freezing weather that way Texans can properly prepare. In the last couple of years, the first freeze in the great state usually takes place in November, December, or January, but October could be promising.

Of course, the weather can always decide to shift and cold-weather or freeze might not even be an option but as of right now, Texans are told to grab their coats and be prepared for cold weather, it seems winter may be on its way.
