A Killeen, Texas Tradition The 58th Annual Killeen Christmas Parade Is This Saturday
I had fun back in 2019 when I MC'ed the Killeen, Texas Christmas parade for the first time, then COVID hit, and here we are in 2021 and I am pleased to say I am back again!
That's right: It's once again time to celebrate the Christmas Season at the 58th Annual Killeen Christmas Parade.
This year's theme is "Parade On Ice", and the parade make its way through historic Downtown Killeen is this Saturday starting at 1 pm.
There will be dozens of floats and performing groups that will bring the holiday spirit along with me, Trey the Choklit Jok, as this year's parade announcer.
Let's see those Santa hats, elf ears, and deer antlers, and be sure to bring out the entire family to witness the 58th annual Killeen Christmas Parade.
Again, it's starting at 1 pm sharp in historic Downtown Killeen this Saturday, December 11.
The parade will begin on Avenue D and 2nd Street. Featured floats include Santa Claus on a firetruck, reindeer in a corvette, and Fort Hood’s cavalry horse unit, among many others.
There will be dozens of floats and performers, and possibly an appearance from the Grinch. (He's a mean one.)
Since the parade theme is “On Ice”, participants were encouraged to incorporate it in their displays. Let's see how creative the people of Killeen can be.
I will be on hand throwing out tons of B106 T-shirts and goodies, so come on out and bring the family to have a good time. Thhe weather is expected to be nice as well, so we'll see you there!
