I served up my Top 5 Valentine's Day Jamz a couple of days ago, then I took to Facebook to ask YOU our loyal and awesome listeners to submit YOUR favorites and you guys came through!

First, thanks to everyone that commented on my post on Facebook and here on the site. Lots of incredible songs were offered by Kem, R. Kelly, Jodeci, and legends like Luther Vandross, The Isley Brothers and more! So I've gathered some of the best choices and I have to say, you guys picked and amazing list!

Unfortunately, my colleague at US105 Jamie Garrett had a suggestion that I can assure you didn't make this list.

Let's get it started with The Isley Brothers "Between The Sheets"! A lot of folks recommended this CLASSIC and I couldn't agree more!

Big shoutout to my kinfolk T-Man Brown in Louisiana who suggested this classic duet from Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn, a beautiful, soulful ballad called "If This World Was Mine". The original song is for Cheryl as you will find out in this "Soul Train" interview of their performance from back in the day but this was a GREAT selection!

"The Purple One" of course was requested by many! Another amazing artist with a huge catalog, we could go on and on about which song from Prince to choose but "Do Me Baby" lead the consensus! Since Prince and his team keeps alot of his music from being used on the internet, I found a classic live performance from 1982 of this slow jam! Check it out!

The 90's were a great era for love songs! Lots of comments for this gem from Rome "I Belong To You".

Last and certainly not least, "Always and Forever" by Heatwave. A staple of Sadie Hawkins dances and house parties since its release in 1976. Quite possibly one of the greatest love songs ever recorded!

Honorable mentions to Jodeci - "Forever My Lady", Boyz II Men "I'll Make Love To You", and R. Kelly's "12 Play". Thanks to all our amazing listeners and keep commenting and following us on Facebook!
