Welcome! Killeen ISD Has A New Superintendent
There have been a lot of changes in the last couple of weeks with the Killeen Independent School District we welcomed brand new principles to certain middle schools and high schools and now KISD welcomes a new Superintendent Dr. Jo Ann Fey was selected by trustees for her outstanding track record for successfully working with a subpopulation that greatly resembles the KISD district.

CONGRATS DR. JO ANN FEY!
Jo Ann Fey has a natural passion for ensuring that our children have an opportunity to realize their full potential when it comes to their education and I for one cannot be more ecstatic about that. Brett Williams, who is the board president said the board of trustees is excited to complete the next step in what we feel has been an intentional and successful process and identifying our next leader. Dr. Fey, insight, energy, and commitment to our KISD family have already been evident over the last 21 days. We are confident that our community will see immediate progress in our efforts to ensure the student learns to their maximum potential and as a parent who has a child in the KISD district that is all I really can ask of from a superintendent.
It was stated that Jo Ann Fey said that she is excited to work with the staff administration, and students to make KISD a destination district in Central Texas. She also says that she is even more excited to include staff, community, and student voices in our journey. I feel very confident about the superintendent, taking over will take care of our children! welcome to the KISD district.
