WARNING: Boil Water Notice In The City Of Killeen
The city of Killeen has sent out a boil water notice to residents living in the 6000 through 7000 block of Wagon Wheel Drive and the 600 block through the 700 block of Spoke Drive.
BOIL WATER NOTICE IN THE CITY OF KILLEEN
According to the city of Killeen, at 8 AM on March 25, there will be a water crew in the location to replace a broken water valve in those areas. The crew will need to make sure to isolate the water mains to complete the assignment. There will be a crew on-site until the actual assignment is completed, and the water services are back restored. Once the water quality samples are taken, the next morning the results also will be available within 24 to 48 hours.
WHAT SHOULD RESIDENTS DO UNTIL THE BOILING NOTICE IS LIFTED?
Until residents are notified that the notice is lifted, residents are urged to boil water before any type of consumption. The city of Killeen will issue the public notice on the city of Killeen website, once everything is completed or you could always contact the Boil Water hotline at 254-501-6515.
