Waco Police Investigate Fatal Shooting, Woman Detained

According to the Waco Police Department and KWTX, a 47-year-old man was tragically shot early Wednesday morning on Apple Lane, in the 100 block of that area. Officials were called to the location and arrived at 6:18 AM in response to reports of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they confirmed that an individual had been shot and was later transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Man Shot to Death in Waco, Woman Being Questioned by Authorities

Officers stated that a female suspect was taken into custody for questioning, and it has been confirmed that the two individuals were familiar with each other. The suspect has been booked into the Waco Police Department. Authorities have described the incident as isolated, and the investigation is ongoing.
