Video: Mouse Jumps Into Whataburger Deep Fryer

What has it been three months since Chicago Bank bought Whataburger? And now we have mice jumping into deep fryers!

Okay, that's not fair, but that did happen at the Bastrop location and it was all caught on video.

Warning: The video does contain some muffled profanities.

The rodent is clearly a mouse, not a rat as the video title and some news outlets suggest.

You can hear Whataburger employees offer refunds before a customer goes behind the counter to catch the mouse which leads it to jump in the fryer.

The ending is almost poetic with an employee saying "I don't know how to turn it off".

Now don't worry your fry's most likely aren't going to have a rat tail or two mixed in there, it appeared to be a deer mouse which is very common and are known to get into buildings from time to time.

You can bet Whataburger is taking steps to prevent anything like this from happening again.
