The drive in movies at local Walmart stores in Central Texas are "sold out".

The Killeen Daily Herald reports that tickets to movies scheduled to be shown on four different dates at Walmarts in Killeen and Harker Heights were free, but there was a limited number of them.

The Harker Heights Walmart drive in movie will be "Back to the Future" and is scheduled for Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The movie "Cars" will show on Sept 16 at the Killeen Walmart located at 1400 Lowes Blvd.  The movie is set to show at 7:30 p.m. as well.

"Men in Black: International" will show at a different Killeen Walmart, 3404 W. Stan Schlueter Loop on Oct. 16 and on Oct. 17 the movie "Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse" will begin at 7:30 p.m.
thewalmartdrivein.com says even though the shows are sold out, tickets could become available at a later date.  Be sure to check the website periodically.
If you have tickets and plan to attend one of these movies, you can arrive 90 minutes prior to the start and participants will be required to wear a mask. Of course, you'll also need an FM radio that works so you can hear the movie.
This a a great way to get out and watch movies, and seems pretty popular as they are sold out.  Hopefully Walmart can add more drive-in movies in the near future.
