Train Derailment Blocks Intersections in Hewitt

KWTX's Clint Webb reported that drivers in Hewitt were hit with some delays Wednesday that were caused by something that you don't just see everyday.

A train derailed in the town of Hewitt Wednesday night, and caused for intersections to be blocked on multiple streets. The Union Pacific train blocked multiple intersections on Hewitt Drive.  These intersections included First Street, West Warren Street, and Sun Valley Road.

The cause of the derailment has not been proven yet, but authorities believe it may have been caused or involved by some type of emergency braking. No one was hurt in the derailment of the train.
