Tom Joyner adds Arsenio Hall, Bill Bellamy, Kym Whitley and Lavell Crawford to replace Jay Anthony Brown
At the end of November, longtime TJMS comedian Jay Anthony Brown's contract wasn't renewed after 20 years of being with the show. Which has given The Tom Joyner Morning Show an opportunity to make contributors and guests they've had on in the past, permanent fixtures on the show.
Arsenio Hall, Lavell Crawford, Kym Whitley and Bill Bellamy have been added as permanent co hosts for The Tom Joyner Morning Show.
Each will be on one day a week to add comic relief to the show. Actress Sherry Shepherd who was already on the show on Thursdays will continue in her role.
Comedian Jay Anthony Brown who started with the show in 1996 doing parody songs reportedly wanted to do a syndicated weekend show with Reach Media, the parent company to the The TJMS, and couldn't come to an agreement.
Jay Anthony Brown says he will now join the Sheryl Underwood Radio show as co-host.
