Vacations, swimming and, of course, amusement parks are the perfect way to spend your summer and if you're a thrill seeker, you have to make plans to visit Six Flags Fiesta Texas!

Six Flags Fiesta Texas

I looked it up, it would take less than three hours of drive time to get from Temple or Killeen, to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. Yes, it would be a shorter drive to Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington but Fiesta Texas, as it's called, will soon boast the  'World's Steepest Dive Coaster' with "Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger" when it opens this summer.

This roller coaster has all the thrills one needs to make the trip worth it.

Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger

According to a Six Flags Fiesta Texas press release, "Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger" will offer its 21 riders at a time plenty of thrills including a 95-degree vertical drop at speeds of 60 mph plus "an Immelmann inversion, a 270-degree zero-g roll, a 75-foot near-vertical drop, a wild-banked turn, an extreme airtime hill, and a high-speed spiral finale."

No, it's not for the faint of heart.

San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio Texas has plenty to offer for a weeks vacation or just a 3-day weekend getaway. The Alamo, The River Walk, Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas are just a couple of great reasons to make the "less than 3-hour" drive south.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a must stop and always gets great reviews.
