The Quarantine Chronicles Fast Forward Part 2: Online Shopping

YES, WE KNOW MELZ IS BACK AT WORK BUT THE STORIES STILL NEED TO BE TOLD FROM HIS 14 DAYS WORKING AT HOME ON QUARANTINE.

As we continue to deal with this pandemic, I'm of the belief and in accordance with MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC EXPERTS that staying at home and not going to the store unless you absolutely HAVE TO is the best way to avoid the spread or even catching this virus.

So far I've managed to do a great job of that and so has my family but that has also lead to another unintended (or maybe intended) consequence of the times we're living in: Online shopping consumption and addiction.

Not saying its a bad thing, I love getting packages just like everyone else. The rush of excitement you get at opening up something sent exclusively FOR YOU even though YOU BROUGHT IT in most cases is weirdly satisfying. But in these times, some folks are getting just a little bit more ridiculous with the Amazon shopping.

Take my family for example, since all of this has started, I've never seen this many packages coming to our home EVER. Everyday I wake up to a new package for my wife or kids (my kids who ARE NOT EMPLOYED are SHOPPING??). I have to show you what its like and please pray for my credit card, its getting smoked like a brisket....
