The City of Killeen Is Organizing The Fall Cleanup Event

The city of Killeen released a news press stating that the city's public work solid waste division will be placing rolloff containers throughout Killeen from October 11 until the 12th for the fall cleanup event.

IT IS TIME TO CLEAN UP THE CITY OF KILLEEN

This event allows residents to dispose of their additional waste in bulk items at no cost at all. The event will be on Friday, October 11, and Saturday, October 12 from 7 AM to 5 PM. The city will have solid waste rolloff containers located throughout the city for disposal of bulk items and additional household waste only. Killeen Special Event Center gravel lot located at 3301 S. WS Young Dr., Clear Creek Water Tower located at 6520 Clear Creek Rd., Long Branch Park, located at 1101 Branch Dr., and Condo Park parking lot located at 810 Street will be the following locations where the roll-off containers will be available to use.

HERE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS

You will need an active ID and a City of Killeen utility bill will be required to utilize the containers. Vehicle parts, liquids, batteries, rocks, dirt, tires, and explosives items will not be acceptable.
