Khalid has been burning up the charts with his latest smash hit "Talk". While his star continues to shine bright, he hasn't forgotten about the tragedy that struck his hometown of El Paso recently after a mass shooting outside of a Wal-Mart there and he's doing his part to help.

According to Page Six, Khalid will be hosting "A Night For SunCity" a benefit concert happening September 1st at El Paso's Don Haskins Center on the campus of UTEP. The concert will feature a performance by Khalid and his "friends" who have yet to be announced but we're sure some big stars will make appearances.

The concert is being thrown by "The Great Khalid Foundation" and "The Right Hand Foundation" with all proceeds from the show going to the El Paso Shooting Victims’ Fund and the El Paso Community Foundation.

“I want to give back to my community of El Paso, the city of the 915, who has given so much to me. Please come out and let’s heal together through music while raising money to help those who need it.” -Khalid
