Texas’ Own Khalid Makes Time’s 100 Most Influential People List

In just a few short years since graduating from high school in El Paso, R&B star Khalid has had incredible success with a double platinum debut album "American Teen" which earned him a five Grammy nominations and his new album "Free Spirit" which just hit stores this month and is already at the top of the Billboard charts.

Its because of all that success that he's been named one of Time Magazine's "100 Most Influential People In The World" according to KTSM Channel 9. The annual list was released on Wednesday and the rising R&B star was listed among the artists along with Dwayne Johnson (also known as The Rock), Regina King, Joana and Chip Gaines, and Mahershala Ali.
