To find out, WalletHub collected the data. There were five major categories, each totaling 20 points leading to overall score of 100. Here's what they are:

- Health Resolutions

So what was the number one city in Texas for keeping goals for the new year? Well with a score of 35 in Bad-Habit Resolutions, 40 in Financial Resolutions, 36 in Health Resolutions, 8 in Relationships Resolutions and 18 in School & Work Resolutions, it was none other than Austin, Texas! Austin's overall score was a total of 65.21.
Plano, Texas made it in the top 25 at 12. While Houston and Dallas were in the top 50 at 43 and 46 respectively. So keeping a resolution in Texas? Might need to live in Texas!
