When I say, crooked and dirty, I mean, they don’t necessarily feel that the rules apply to them and they make certain decisions that would place a normal individual, possibly in jail or even worse consequences.

According to the Fort Worth telegram, Gerardo Alanis, who is mayor of a south, Texas town was recently taken into custody and arrested. Alanis was accused of helping a cocaine trafficking conspiracy with a sibling and others, according to federal officials and news outlets. Documents stated that Gerardo Analis was being accused of taking part In a very suspicious trafficking scheme that involved over 80 pounds of cocaine and allegedly it was intended to be distributed.

Alanis's brother was arrested first on drug charges back in October with the same plot according to the Department of Justice news release. At the time the 40-year-old man was serving as a school board president and also assistant city manager during the arrest. McClatchy News tried to reach out to the city managers for comments regarding the mayor being arrested, but there was no hearback. Hildago County Precinct, one constable, Celestino Villa, Jr. says this came as no surprise he referred to the situation as a circus and a system of clowns. This area in Texas is located 2 miles north of the Mexican border where plenty of crimes have been reportedly lately. The question is what’s next for Texas?
