According to KWTX, a Texas family is mourning the loss of all their memories and hopes for the future after a house fire destroyed their home, which had been in the family for generations. Noah Hawf Cave, who lived in the home, can now only look at what the memories used to be: gravel, smoke in the air, and tears—those are all that’s left of his home. Noah Hawf Cave and his girlfriend lived in the house with her one-month-old baby, and unfortunately, they now have to start from the ground up. Being independent and stable was something Noah and his girlfriend had worked really hard to achieve, but now that will be postponed.

This property, filled with memories and laughter, is where Noah grew up, but now it’s filled with tears. Noah recalled, "Every time after school, we would come to the house, which at that time was my great-grandma’s house, and we would always have Coca-Cola and crackers. It was the first thing we looked forward to after school." Noah went on to say, "I lost a lot of memories and pictures. We had all the files for the baby, so that’s what’s really upsetting because we had a baby before that, and unfortunately, that child didn’t make it."
