Temple, Texas Residents Angry At Big Lots Blaring Night Alarm
Residents of Temple, Texas have begun to voice complaints regarding an alarm that goes off continuously in the evening hours. Here's what is known at the time of writing.
Big Lots Alarm Annoys Multiple Residents Of Temple, Texas
According to KCEN, the alarm has been causing issues for a long amount of time. Eric Day, who was interviewed by KCEN, stated that the alarm in question has "been going on for months now...I'd probably say about four or five months. All night long, it's just going off." Day also stated that nobody has checked on the alarm, despite claims for someone to do something to stop it.
Per Day, "There's a gentleman back here that said he can't even sleep at night because it's so loud." KCEN even reached out to the Temple Big Lots, but they were instructed to reach out to corporate, and they have gotten back to them at the time of writing.
Temple Police Reveal More Information About The Big Lots Alarm
KCEN also reports that the Temple Police False Alarm Reduction Program has the Big Lots Alarm on record, as it is part the alarm program they have. If an alarm going off is deemed to be false, Big Lots is fined for the infraction. At the time of writing, The store has had over eight instances of a false alarm going off.
Each time it's occurred, the store has been fined $100 for it happening. So, at the current time of writing, answers are still be looked for. As this is a developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
