On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered one of the most important speeches in this nation's history. Incredibly, the most famous element of that speech, known as the "I Have A Dream Speech", was partly improvised and almost didn't happen.

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of the most influential person of the the 20th century, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. If King were still alive ,he would be 85 years old and probably still fighting for civil rights alongside the great leaders of today.
