Wow! NBA Star And Killeen, Texas Native Is Hosting Basketball Camp For The City
It really makes my heart melt knowing that I come from Killeen, Texas, and plenty of success stories will come out of the same city that I do.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE IN KILLEEN, TEXAS
A lot of people become successful and forget where they come from. Many don't even go back to their city ever again. I think it’s very important if you come from a small town like mine that you visit once in a while and give back to your community. That way it shows the next generation how and what to do for their community as well.
I say all the time that it definitely takes a village, and we should all participate in building it.
Killeen native Royce O’Neale, a professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets definitely understands the assignment regarding giving back and showing your community how to grow with one another.
ROYCE O'NEALE NEVER FORGOT WHERE HE CAME FROM
Royce O'Neale attended Harker Heights High School and Baylor University before going pro with the NBA. Now this Killeen native is putting together a basketball camp for the children right before going back to school, which I find to be absolutely amazing.
The Royce Summer Camp 2022, sponsored by the Royce Oneale Foundation, will take place on Saturday, August 6th from 9 AM to 3 PM.
THANK YOU ROYCE FOR TAKING CARE OF OUR VILLAGE
This is a great opportunity for your children to come out and not only see an actual NBA player, but to enjoy staying active this summer.
Greatness in this particular family comes naturally. A while back I wrote an article on his niece, Ciani Kingwood, who was crowned the makeup artist of the year. Ciani‘s mother Dana Kingwood, is a well-known caterer/chef in the city of Dallas. This family is all about good values and taking care of one another, and now Royce will be sharing that love during the camp.
