Road Closures In Killeen This Week For Infrastructure Improvements

The City Of Killeen will shutting down several roads Wednesday and Thursday as they make much needed infrastructure improvements. According to a press release from the City, the closures are for a water main rehabilitation project.

Beginning Wednesday, Feb 14 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the following roads will be closed or will have their lanes reduced:

• Veterans Memorial Boulevard, westbound outside lane from 2nd Street to Wilmer Street.
• College Street, from Veterans Memorial Boulevard to Avenue G.
• Park Street, from Veterans Memorial Boulevard to Avenue G.

On Thursday. Feb 15, during the same hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 PM the following roads will be closed as well:

• Veterans Memorial Boulevard, westbound outside lane from Gray Street to College Street.
• Park Street, from Veterans Memorial Boulevard to Avenue G.
• 2nd Street, from Veterans Memorial Boulevard to Avenue G.
• 4th Street, from Veterans Memorial Boulevard to Avenue G.
