R&B Legend Miki Howard on The Takeover

Miki Howard's story from homeless teen to R&B legend is one that is filled with tremendous highs and very sad lows. Its for this reason TVOne's hit tv series "Unsung" which chronicles the stories of R&B legends has produced its first original movie based on her life story called "Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story" which premieres this Sunday night (June 12th) at 6:00pm CST.

The film stars Teyonnah Parris (Chi-Raq) as Miki Howard, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Darius McCrary, Gary Dourdan, and LisaRaye-McCoy. The movie looks at Howard's life story which is filled with abuse, betrayal, heartache and a desperate search for love which ends with a triumphant victory that is both incredible and inspiring.
