It's been about five months since President Donald Trump visited Houston to support Ted Cruz's re-election campaign, and now there are reports that the POTUS may return to the Lone Star State to discuss and raise funds for his own re-election.

The Texas Tribune reports that Trump will stop in San Antonio and Houston on Wednesday, April 10. The Tribune contacted the White House, where staff said they did not have any scheduling announcements to make.

Trump's 2018 Houston rally drew around 16,000 attendees, many of whom camped outside the Toyota Center to get good seats.

The president's most recent visit to Texas was in February of 2019, when he visited El Paso to make the case for his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. The visit was met by a counter-rally from Robert "Beto" O'Rourke, who lost a senate bid against Cruz in November and recently announced his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination.

It's not currently known which venues the president will visit.
