There is a new emergency room now open in Killeen, Texas.

The SignatureCare Emergency Center is now open at 800 W. Central Texas Expressway. The Killeen Daily Herald reports SignatureCare says patients will receive top quality care from board-certified physicians 24-hours a day without having to spend the whole day waiting. The facility has had its doors open since January 31st.

The medical center is stocked with the latest technology including a complete lab and X-ray center. Ultrasound machines and advanced CT scanners are also part of the setup. Jen Martin is the digital marketing manager for the center and told KDH, "We can treat infants to adults for both major and minor medical emergencies ranging from stomach pain ... to chest pain and just about any other medical issue that you would typically go to the hospital ER for."

While they do not have a dentist on their staff they do have medical staff present who can treat a dental emergency. They don't pull teeth but can help manage pain and infection.

The Killeen facility currently has 10 patient rooms and two overnight observation rooms for visitors. Signature Care Emergency Center excepts all private medical insurances minus Tricare, Medicare, and Medicaid.
